ZERO

Welcome G.I. Joe enthusiasts, This is Ron Conner, co-author of the International Action Figure Archive book of GI Joe figures.  It is my pleasure to announce and conduct the sale of these rare Venezuelan figures.   This is only the 2nd "White Mortal" we have seen for sale.  The one we sold last year was a success.  So we are back almost a year later with another White Mortal, AND all the other rare figures from that series.  They look similar to the Argentina Second Series ("Argen 7") yet there are some differences since they were made in different factories in different countries.  Including the use of the Blowtorch molded helmets!  Never before used in this way as a standard helmet.  It appears that the 1982 style helmet mold wasn't available when Rubiplas got a hold of these vintage figure molds.  Please look over each figure by clicking on thumbnail images.   The figures do have damage, which is natural on toys 20+ years old.  When I completed my Argentina set, it took me 2 or 3 of each character to finally get complete figures.  As we know from the USA Straight arm figures, the thumbs break very easily even under moderate play.  Offer terms are similar to last year and are posted below.   Remember, you can make an offer for them individually, or you may try for the entire set.  This sale is open to anyone and everyone, so good luck to all who would like to own these truly rare figures.

Venezuelan "White Mortal"

See pictures for details. Only the second White Mortal known for sale. Condition is in fairly bad shape. Both torso halves are cracked.  Both inner thigh halves are cracked.  Cracks do not effect movement of joints or anything.  Left arm appears to have been replaced and is not original. However, all other body parts are 100% original.  Includes a scan copy of his file card and a his broken crossbow.  Also includes a copy of the Certificate of Authenticity by the manufacturer, Rubiplas.  See more information on the White Mortal's origin HERE

Venezuelan Redmack

See pictures for details.  Comes with his original brown helmet, which is an exclusive "Blowtorch" helmet molded in brown plastic.   Helmet has a crack in the back. These helmets weren't originally designed for this type of head.  Joints are in good working order. Turquoise paint is different than the Argentina blue.  Has a broken left thumb and the front part of his waist piece has broken off. Back screw hole appears to have some plastic wear around the outer edge. Some paint wear but the colors are very vivid compared to other Redmack figures I have seen.  Comes with a scan copy of his original file card.

Venezuelan Manleh

See pictures for details.  Blue plastic, and paint colors appear slightly different than the Argentina version.  Figure has a broken right thumb and the front waist piece was broken, but repaired with glue.  Right metal shoulder rivet appears to have been changed or just scraped up.  However, the all the joints move nicely.

Venezuelan Topson

See pictures for details.  Paint details different than the Argentina version.  There is no black "V" paint around his neck.  This is suppose to simulate an undershirt. Just like how the Redmack is done above.  Comes with his original LIGHT gray helmet, which is an exclusive "Blowtorch" helmet molded in gray plastic.  This is not the dark gray version that came with the accessory pack.  Joints are in good working order and are a little loose on the elbows.  Both thumbs are broken.  Camo pattern is one of the best I have seen.  Usually the spot wear off easily.

Venezuelan Shimik

See pictures for details. Mainly just a parts figure since the legs are actually Invasors.  Has a broken thumb.  The plus sides to this figure is the lack of paint wear on the silver machine gun bullet straps.  On the Argentina versions, they wear very easily.  The backpack is original.  Just like how Plastirama did their backpacks.  They molded them in a different color and painted them black.  This one is molded in Blue! Very cool. There has never been a "Grunt" backpack molded and released in blue. Comes with a scan copy of his file card.

Venezuelan Invasor

See pictures for details.  No broken thumbs or waist.  Nice figure, has some minor wear to his logo. Comes with a scan copy of his file card.

Questions & Answers

Can you tell me more about the origin of these figures?   These figures are some of the rarest GI Joe figures ever offered for sale. These figures were made by the Rubiplas Toy Company in Venezuela.  These were done on an extremely low production run.  Add to that, they are over 20 years old, and there are only a handful of these figures known to the collecting community.  The White Mortal was a legendary myth until it was brought to light last year.  These figures are similar to another South American country.  Argentina (by Plastirama) also produced these characters.  However there are some slight and at least one major difference between the two companies.  The Argentina version of the Mortal is red, black and chrome.  But as you can see, the Venezuelan version is White black and chrome.  Other differences include color shade differences like Redmack's paint applications, and the overall plastic colors of the Manleh.

These figures are made available through a private collector who contacted me again this year to sell some of his rare figures.  These Venezuela figures are the property of the owner, however, they are in my possession (Ron) to broker and sell on his behalf.  I am in Florida, USA and these items will ship from me once payment is received.  Just like last year's sale.  See last year's Mortal and further origin details HERE.

Can I split up the offer money in payments?  Arrangements may be made on a case, by case basis.  If you need to work out an installment payment plan, please explain your needs in the initial email offer.

Do you have any trade references?  I am the co-author of a 100+ page book titled, International Action Figure Archive.  It covers International GI Joe figures from over 13 different countries around the world.  I have been professionally selling toys and collectibles since 1999, and have a 100% positive feedback rating on Ebay.  A list of references can be made available if needed.

Do you accept trades? This is for a cash sale.   However, I will contact the top group of people near the end of the sale. At that point, additional money or merchandise offers can be added.

Can you tell me how much the current high offer is? The current high price can change several times in any give day.  And those changes come at a moment's notice.   So near the end of the sale, I will contact the top 5 people with highest offers.  At that point, they will know they are in the running.

When the sale ends, how will I know who's offers were accepted?  If you have the highest offer on any particular figure, you will be contacted soon after the sale via email and/or phone call.  So please be available or else the owner may choose the next highest offer if you do not respond within 72 hours at the end of sale.   Once the deal is finally closed and the item has been officially paid for, then I will post that the sale is complete.  However, I may not be able to post the name of the lucky winner.  Because, some collectors are very private about what they own.  So we will only post the new owner's name if s/he asks us to.  Just like how the original owner wishes to remain private.   Last years buyer of the first White Mortal did go public soon after the sale was complete.

Got more questions, EMAIL US.  New Q & A's will be posted, so keep checking back for other info.
